Ian’s coaching approach is based on the simple belief that once you have clarity about a situation, and once all of the hidden barriers are revealed, you will feel confident in how to handle it. Ian started coaching almost two decades ago and uses the skills and techniques for “getting to the root” that he honed in his strategic planning consultancy to help keep executives and entrepreneurs get into action. Ian focuses on three areas of personal/professional development with his clients: removing barriers by getting to the root, creating action strategies and plans, enhancing leadership and communication skills.
Ian has worked with more than 300 companies and philanthropies over the last 15 years, leading them on a journey to get to the essence of “who” they really are – in 7 words or less. These words become the mantra that guides how they operate and communicate in their businesses. I apply the same principles of “getting to the root” with my coaching clients so that they have the confidence of a clear and powerful path forward.”
